Viktor was born and raised on Bainbridge Island. He started writing ghost stories in elementary school with his best friend. They spent every recess in the library until the teachers, with feigned concern for their wellbeing, forced them outside to play. Needless to say, they kept up their writing in the shadow of a cedar tree.

With a wanderers spirit, Viktor traveled Europe and Central America, lived in a few different countries, and finally, after many years, returned to his island home. He found early success editing and publishing translated books, but has now shifted his focus to his own prose full time; his stories focus on the speculative fiction, splatterpunk, horror, satire and LGBTQIA+ genres.

Viktor is working toward a BA in creative writing at CWU and raising his kids like 90s kids (free-range). You can often find him wandering the many beautiful trails on the island. He is also advocate for affordable housing as a member of the Board of Directors of Housing Resources Bainbridge.

He is currently looking for Beta readers for several novels and would be happy to return the favor. 🙂
